THE IMPACT OF ECG CONNECTOR DESIGN ON SIGNAL QUALITY
Did you know that the design of an ecg electrode affects the signal quality on an ecg trace?
A new comparison show different ecg connector designs (offset fitting or center fitting connectors) affect the signal quality on an ecg trace when these are mechanically manipulated. The comparison demonstrates that the offset connector design to a larger extend mitigates the impact on signal quality from pulling of lead wires or pushing on sensors during wear.
